P112F Code

Hi everyone, my engine light is on today but car still drives well. Scanned the car and got the this error code. Do you know how to fix this issue? At what cost? Thanks so much!

Step 1) Get a real scanner (protools is popular). P-codes won't help you with a BMW in the long run.
Step 2) Google search. Seems to point to a generic vacuum leak. Refer back to Step 1.

The shop did smoke test and found the intercooler was leaking due to broken gasket. Replaced the gasket and problem was resolved. Total cost was $200. Not bad.
