Ok now that I've wiped the drool off my bib, what's the cost of these really?

$6K? That sounds like 20%-25% of what some of these trucks sell for!

Also, what model year did these come standard on? They look so damn good.

Led was option only, not standard eqiupment. Starting from 2012.

separately one headlight cost about $3000 at online bmw stores and total price for all items is about $7500-$8000

anyway final cost is discussable in PM.

Weren't these LED's available as an option only on model year 2013 (in the states)? Or did you mean these were available as an option starting in 2012 on the 2013 model years?

Slightly OT: Do the F85 front cross drilled rotors fit with no modifications? Are the rotors the only parts from an F85 I need to make them fit on an e70 X5 M?

Not sure about states, in europe option was available in 2012. Anyway it could be installed on all E71 08-13.

F85 drilled rotors are same size with E70 X5M rotors, but mount holes are different, front rotor have 1 same hole and it will be ok with 1 screw, rear rotor - both holes are different, you'll need to make at least 1 hole in wheel hub or rotor (plus new thread if new hole will be in the hub ) and new mount screws that will fit F85 rotors.

Didn't look at your location (mobile website on my phone when I originally posted) but here in the states, the LED headlights were only available as an option on the last production model year (2013) e70 X5 M. Definitely stands out from the already rare X5 M crowd. GLWS!

Thanks for the rotor info. Not sure how comfortable I feel about having only 1 screw on each rotor versus 2 of the original. Although it does look much better with those cross drilled rotors.

It's not a problem to make additional holes in the hubs to make 2 screws on each rotor, also wheel keep rotor on it's place with 5 bolts.

My story:

In 2012 I bought X5 08, it was almost empty - no cameras no park sensors no air suspension nothing at all
I enjoyed car for 1 month until Vag tried to destroy it

Luckily I had full insurance and I was paid about $9k for that accident, local dealer calculated about $15k and I said them good bye
I started to search for used/new parts and calculated total repair for about $5k, but then I saw LCI X5 with performance air kit and understood that I want it.
Bought new lci headlights, footwell module, rear lci lamps, front and rear lci bumpers, air kit and a lot of new brackets and small plastic parts. Everything cost me in total about $12k with paintworks etc.

2 years passed and in 2014 I saw led headlights on X6, I said damn it's cool and I want it, luckily X5M had same option.
So I made a list of parts I need and started to search and buy it. It took about 5 months to make list complete. Fenders, bumpers, headlights, exhaust, front splash shields, m wheel archs and rocker panels and some more plastic parts.
Additionally I prepared CIC to change from CCC, E72 Hybrid hood, knee pads on center console, m-style handle,
oem carbon leather interior decor, M st.wheel with heat (-30F is not rare weather here), vented comfort seats (90F is not cool with base seats),
5 cameras - rear top and side view and park sensors, headup display, F85 brakes, M mirror covers, M cluster, front curved grilles, electric trunk spindles, electric door locks (keep fingers far away ).
So now this car packed with options
Everything cost about $20k, plus I sold lci stuff for $5k

For the comfort seats you just need the climate control piece and seats? Any additional wiring needed under the seats?
