Seems such a waste that the GT350 has a much cooler engine.

wow, that is sexy, I think I need to change my pants.

It looks like a proper supercar, without going overboard.

I take it the 2016 M4 is a no go now? Ford GT looks sweet.

Why they aren't going to be making it after 2016. It's gone.

I still prefer the looks of the one you could buy in 2005. That car screamed "instant classic" the second I saw it. This one looks like an NSX competitor.

Cool car. I bet they come out with a force-fed V8 version at some point.

Wow. Had no idea Ford dealers were already taking them. Just seconds after the model debuts in Detroit Ford is making them! Oh wait, they wont be available until 2016. You sure about that deposit?

Article said over 600 HP, not 600 to the wheels or 600rwhp (unless you read something different?). It might be a rear mounted engine but its still going to have lose power in the drive train, not much but like 8-10%.

Well, a 3.0 liter twin turbo m3 appears to be able to make ~500 crank HP will almost pretty much no turbo lag....

A 3.5 liter would increases displacement by 17%, providing alot more exhaust flow to take advantage of for some larger snails...

It's possible it produces that power with almost the same level of turbo lag (i.e. pretty much none) as the s55

Edit: I'll just add that it appears that v6 has about a 3 foot total length of exhaust piping and that it's a STRAIGHT shot from the cylinders to each exhaust pipe. No idea where they'd fit a catalytic converter in there, but I think it's safe to say that the GT is going to have excellent exhaust flow - better than a front engine'd vehicle is capable of having - and therefore less turbo lag as a result of exhaust restrictions.

LOL. If it's as rare as the last GT, it's a good idea. Dealers will soon sell it $50-100k over invoice like the last GT. It was crazy, people paid $200k+ for them.

That car ... specifically that car with a turbo V6 is just not right. It screams for a high revving V8, V10, V12 ... I can see the Acura NSX with a V6 and electric motors, etc. but not this car.

Well, whatever the next model is then. We never get the high performance "sports sedan" over here. Total bummer every year they stiff us.

I've been drooling over this car all day since the announcement. Shame I'll never be able to own it. Here's why... When it comes out the limited production will sell out and they will appreciate right off the bat further distancing the price from most of us. I doubt anyone will pay that $175k...

It's gonna be sold out. I thought the rumor was $200,000ish priced similar to the Lamborghini Gallardo
