Possible BMW LMP in 2017?

Sportscar365 just published a Report that BMW Is evaluating an LMP1 Program for 2017!

I think it'd be awesome....thoughts?
Do you thinks it's possible or just another rumor like the Audi F1 rumor?

I don't think it'd be a big leap to go from Riley+Dinan/BMW to full OE program

They really need to get back to contending with Audi and Porsche with prototypes again. I love what they've done with the E89 platform and the new M6GT3 looks like a beast especially with the likes of Continental GT3s now on-track, as well as the M235iR series but I'd like to see more from their racing programs

Wow, can't wait. A true LMP program will showcase their cutting edge technology and help marketing.

I'd like them to move away from the V8 and do some exotic powertrain like the diesel hybrids

For sure and maybe it'd be a step back towards F1 as well
