Need some advise

Here is my deal, i can switch "tomorrow" from my x6 5.0 to new 2012 x6m (both fully loaded).

Question is - better to wait for new release if so what we know so far about it ????

PS Very tempting

Nice! But if yours is fully loaded already, think about how much the upgrade will cost you and whether it's worth it. I'm sure it's a noticable upgrade judging by looks alone, but you're starting all over again with first year depreciation, etc... If it's speed you're after, also look at the Dinan S1 software for the 50i, it will put straight line performance close to that of the M. But it's like a tuned 335i vs an M3, not the same car.

I don't think there will be a facelift until the 2013 model year, relased in spring 2012. there was a post on here a little while ago regarding the 50d motor coming out with the LCI X6, I believe that's what it said.

Are you getting any special deal on x6m or just looking to switch? If no special pricing, I would wait for the new facelift.

Fully loaded, that certainly sounds like special pricing to me!
Around here, a car like that would likely run north of $100k.

Would you be able to get similar pricing on a refreshed or LCI model? If so, that'd make me want to wait it out...

I would not wait. The next gen is a long way off, and may not be as good. Pick the right color and enjoy the good deal they are offering you.

I think you are getting it for slightly less than invoice? Good deal. It's really hard to say, I would probably still wait.

There are some crazy deals to be had at the moment. I switched my '09 x35 to a *loaded* '12 x50 (about $19k more cost than the 35) with nothing down and lower lease payments.

I looked long and hard at the M, BUT decided against it because a) Residual and lease MF are markedly worse (payment high) and b) The roads here in the northwest are so dreadful I'd never get to enjoy it.

I wouldn't worry about the new one - it's 2 1/2 years out, and experience always tells us - never get a first year new model

If you want it... do it!

Tough decision indeed. I like the M as well and would love to trade up but I belive living within the 5 boroughs, you might not get to have fun with the M unless you do alot of roadtrips. Right now I would say wait a couple of years for the face lifted X6... at least that is my plan... bu if i was being offered a deal like the one you got going, i might reconsider waiting and just jump in! Do you mind telling me what dealership you taling to? I wouldn't mind bringing mine in to see if I could get a sweet deal as well...
