Thrust rod bushings??
I have my car at the dealership. They told me my thrust rod bushings were worn. To replace these it will cost $850.00. Does this sound right to anyone? It is not covered under warranty because of the wheels and springs I have. That is not the problem I have, I understand that altering the suspension system will cause things to wear out faster. But my problem is the price. Does anyone know how much the new bushings are. I have seen these bushings for other cars and they are less than $100.00 a set. Has anyone else had this issue?

Does anyone realistically know how much time it would take to do this job? If the parts are only going to run me $80.00 that means I am going to be paying over $750.00 in labor. From the time I gave them the ok to do the job, I stopped by there 3 hours later to see the worn bushings and they already had the new ones on.
