2013 X6 50i with some mods......

Mod list is as follows:

Black rough trim on rockers, wheel wells, and lower bumpers painted body color. Lower center section of front and rear bumpers painted black. All front grills painted black. Fog lights surrounds painted black. Exhaust painted gloss black with high temp paint (heat shield too). (This truck was from that first batch that had chrome exhaust tips in error.) Roundels blacked out. Rear M performance spoiler (body color). Front reflectors body color. Amber fogs.

This truck has the M perf. pkg. Thus the M sills and pedals.

Ha. It is suede. The truck has a black suede/leather interior. Look at the seats in one of the pics.

Looks good, but I believe you need to flip your front wheels.

Good eye smyles. Wheels were switched right after these photos. Had just put different spacers on.

Polepositition,

Nicely done. Elegantly agressive. I like the matching painted body panels and those wide 214s. What size tires are you using?

Poleposition, are you using spacers on your wheels? If so, what size? If not, what is the offset of those wheels? I ask because they seem to protrude a little and I like the way they look.

Thanks!

Love the color but without any lowering springs, the car er truck looks like its on stilts.
Look at the first picture....

Agreed, Mark. The truck would definitely look better lowered but I've played that whole game before on previous X's and while it does look good, it rides like crap. This X is a Daily Driver for my wife. The poor quality ride you get from lowering it wasnt worth it. Thx for looking. Lets not forget, it IS an SUV. Not a sports car. I'll save the suspension tinkering for my M5.

Good point...especially if its the wife's daily driver. Regardless, still looks good.

Perhaps future mod? spacers and larger tires?

Truck already has spacers and tires can't get any larger. At least not without looking completely ridiculous.

Very well done mate.... Looks like she should have rolled off the factory floor with those mods. I'd be interested to know how the painted skirts go. I have a new x5 m sport that I'm about to trade on a new x6 and its has terrible issues with stone chipping in this area and I thought that must be the reason BMW didn't go down that track with the x6. Anyway hopefully you will let us know once you have a few 1000's km / m on her.
Nice job!
