Loud HVAC/Center stack

Have any of you noticed with the stereo off a humm or buzz from the center stack near the HVAC? Mine was loud, like a pc humming along, but sometimes it is louder than other times...so I complained and they replaced it...it is now exactly the same, they said there is nothing they can do.

Anyone else notice this? Hope I am not the only one!

My A/C fan makes a slight ticking noise from time to time at low speeds.

Can't say I have heard a hum.

One thing for sure, BMW is not known for quality HVAC systems. The worst I ever owned.

Fortunately for BMW, the HVAC is not a factor for me when purchasing a car.

I usually have tunes on so I would have to turn them off and listen, or is it so loud you can always hear it ?

BMW HVAC is the noisiest I had , The loudness of the fan always pisses me off. I know from building PC's you can spend a few bucks and get a very quiet high volume fan.
But like Chuck said it's what happens when you put the pedal down and put it into a corner why I buy BMW.

I agree, with tunes on or engine revvin I don't notice...just if you happen to have it off and are idling or something...just seems loudish...certainly not the end of the world...
