Total System Failure...
Hi Everyone. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
My wife parked her 2012 (e70) X5 in the garage last night. Everything was fine. She went use use it today and upon pushing the button, it is telling her that basically every system has failed. For example, the vehicle will not start (does not crank over)...and it is indicating an auto leveling failure...a transmission failure...an xDrive failure...a parking brake failure...an ABS failure...basically everything. I removed the negative battery cable to try to clear errant codes and it did nothing. I tried to pull codes with my scanner and it cannot connect. And I grounded the engine block to the negative jump lug under the hood just in case the engine ground strap failed. And all of this did nothing. Any ideas? |

My 1st thought was ground strap. I had the exact same issues. Since you said you had a workaround for that, I would guess battery
