New X5M Owner!

Whats up Guys just picked this up. Recently got a new pup and hes gonna get big soon so no more fitting in the m3. Also really wanted something that has more space and can carry people a little more comfortably as well as something I can take on camping trips and such.

And a pic of the little guy

Overall impression after driving it back from houston. HOLY Sh1T this thing is fast. Will post up other thoughts as I drive it more. And where the hell does one start with mods on this thing? No idea what the market is like for X5m's coming from an M3.

The market for mods are very limited on the x5m. No comparison to your m3. There isn't a whole lot you can do to your S63 engine. Most do catless downpipes, free flowing exhaust, and a tune. Almost forgot the mandatory drop by either H&R or KW.

Meh, plenty fine for a dog hauler. I highly recommend the BMW Cargo area cover. Fits really well and covers the entirety of the rear cargo area. Keeps dog hair from embedding into carpet and other upholstery fibers. They are spendy but can be found affordably online. I think Tischer sells it for around $220. My dogs ride back there and I've had no issues keeping my interior very clean.

(it also expands to cover the entire back half of the vehicle when the rear seats are folded, which I think rocks.)

That sounds like something I need. Do you have any pics of it installed in your x5?

Is this somewhere north of campus? Nice X5M by the way.

PS: all those M3s remind me of my brother's M3...
