Best Gasoline?
I have been told that our Bimmers are particularly fickle when it comes to fuel. More so than most vehicles. My dealer Tech and my Dinan guy both swear by Premium Chevron with Techron. They say there is a very obvious difference when you pull an engine apart. I am using Chevron anyway, as it is generally available around here. I have also been a fan of Shell over the years, but that may be just because they were always sponsoring cool races on TV when I was a kid. We do not even see Shell where I live anyway. What do you all think about this?

Just stick to any of the retailers listed here and you'll be fine.

Shell premium or Chevron premium are hands down the best. They use the best additives (the same actually). I run a company that tests oil and gasoline and have seen first hand the difference

Not too many Shell stations here in Philly. I typically opt for Sunoco 93 Octane... So far so good!
