X6M Loaner!

Dropped off my car to get the "Increased Battery Discharge" checked out and look at what they gave me for a loaner! Southbay BMW FTW!

I just dropped off my X6 for service/recall/fixing existing problems.
This probably will take a month, ... and I got a 323i loaner car..

They told me this is the best loaner they have.

I was trying to flirt with the girl who gave me my last loaner which was a very nice 2011 535i when I said to her that " you are treating me too well or I must be moving up in the world because you guys always give me a 335i"!

Now, after seeing this from the OP, i realize I still have a long way to go as far as moving up in the world.... lol

Sadly I never really made use of the power. I figured they were nice enough to let me drive it so I didn't want to screw up the car. It was nice to just cruise in though!

Dont feel too bad
My dealer only have 2011-2012 328xi loaners now
They used to have more variety

Kinda sucks, since i'm not going to be able to fit 2 car seats and cooler/toys/strollers into 3 series

It would be nice if they start providing a few options when it comes to loaner cars for customers with situations similar to yours. At least ask the customer if they have a preference and give options along the lines of two door or four door loaner cars.

I could imagine it could be a frustrating adjustment to go from having the utility of an SAV down to a small coupe when you are trying to accomidate a family and or equipment. Some people even use these vehicles for work and the extra space might be vital to accomplish any tasks.

Just saying that BMW should offer options when it comes to loaner cars because the customer's various needs.

The best they offer here is Vancouver is 323i (and this is if you are lucky). You might get some Suziki's as well...

I agree.
Last year they had 3, 5, 7 series and X5s as loaners
Now, just 328s

Just what all new X6M buyers want to hear, that dealers are passing their future dream car around as a loaner.

This might have something to do with it...

Movers & Losers: February 2012
http://www.chicagotribune.com/classi...,1672734.story

X6M holds the top Loser spot at 114 days average time spent in inventory.

I personally think that anyone who wants an X6M orders it specifically to their needs/wants and rarely takes what the dealer has in stock. But dealers need to keep some around and thus they sit. I know that when I was researching X6s, not one dealer in Chicago had a new X6M to test drive (lots of X5Ms however).
