Let play guess the oil leak
Symptons are it started every 500 miles I would have to add oil
Now if I get on the X5M hard for any duration oil gauge will read a quart lower. Belly Pan is soaked. We know that the valve covers have a leak and one shop is stating rear main seal has a leak.. Anyone want to chime in? |

Curious to see what you find. Mine has a similar size leak. But I replaced oil return lines in January. Mine is leaking more from the right side, possibly oil cooler lines.
If you haven’t done turbo oil return lines, might as well. And don’t forget the coolant line connector. Mine crumbled in my fingers. Oh and where is the “all of the above” option? 😄

So it is so bad that if I nail the gas for a few miles the oil level will drop on the gauge. Now I don't want to think I got it already so I'm going to spend a couple nights driving it really hard like I stole it after I get off of work and I will report back
