glove box lid is coming off

Hello,
New to the forum, I bought an 07 x5 so its my first BMW suv. so far so good. only thing is that my glove box compartment lid is coming off.. the plastic part.. I am undet the cpo but I think this will not be covered, anyone that had the same problem? I think some glue can help or maybe just buying the part..

Speak to the service manager, unless the interior was water damaged that should not happen.

thanks man, you think they can do something about it? original warranty ended in april ..

that won't be covered under CPO. Best bet is to take it to a body shop. Some upholstery adhesive and a few clamps should have that fixed in a couple hours.

Same thing happen to me before on my X5. BMW replace the lid under warranty

This happen to my car two summers ago. the cause was from the heat from the sun. i glue mine bact together and it is holding fine. i use gurella brand glue from the hardware store.

Mine did the same thing. Weird thing is Crevier BMW in SoCal wants $284 to replace it.
