Tire Question
I'm just curious, has anyone run a more aggressive off road type tire on their X5? I'm thinking something similar to a 4 runner.
Why would this be a bad idea? Thanks,

The question is are you going off road? What you may find is a more aggressive tire in your size but you may run into speed rating issues. That being said, most people will not take an X5 to 155mph so if you purchase a tire which is more aggressive yet only speed rated up to say 112, it is on you to make sure that you don't take the X5 on a 125mph cruse. You will have to check with your local tire shop. Some places may not install a tire which has a rating far below the stated minimum rating for liability reasons.
