Suspension Advice Needed :: Going Wider (214s) from non-sport stocks
Hey guys, probably beating up a dead horse but I cou;dnt find any conclusive remarks... our X5d is already stiff w 255s on 18s, I'm going wider 275/ 315 on 20s and the suspensions just gonna get rock stiff... what are my choices to combat that ? (Koni FSD coilovers ?, M Springs ? Dampeners ?) - which part of suspension should be changed out (suspension is my weak area sorry haha)

So you think the non-sport suspension on 18's is stuff? If that is the case, you may want to test drive a x5 w/ 20's at your dealer. I put 18's on a x5 for winters and it was so soft I sold them and bought 19's. If 20's to 18's were that soft i bought a new setup, it may do the opposite for you.
Then again ride firmness is always objective
