Mirrors not folding with remote?

Hi guys,

Just picked up my E70 from the dealer last week... one of the last few in 2013 stock.

Just that I can't get the folding mirrors to work with the key remote. In my F10 I had the folding mirrors closing when I press and held the Lock button for few seconds. But that is not working in the E70...

Spoke to the dealer and 2 product genius looked in to it but they were not sure though. They were going to check with BMW UK and waiting for them to give me an update.

In the mean time thought I'd check with you guys if you know anything?

However, all Windows and Sunroof close when press & hold the Lock button and open when press & hod the Unlock button.

Just couldn't find anything to configure in the controls...

Thanks.

Folding Mirrors

I'm pretty sure that the mirrors are not intended to fold with the remote, at least on the US version.

You need to have the vehicle coded to accomplish that. The dealer will not alter the vehicle's software to do something like this.

You can learn to code your X5 yourself or hire someone like Okee (pronounced "ok") to recode your X5 in person or remotely.
