New 2012 X6

I have some questions Im sure everyone would like answers to.

Fact: We can now order a 2012 BMW X6, and we have some pricing info on it now.

Questions: 1. Does anyone have a photo of their new 2012 BMW X6?
2. Is there going to be another update in September for the 2012 MY, like last year?

This is what I think. We can buy 2012 X6's right now, but they really dont change until the September Fall update.... I think they are enticing us by changing the MY on it in the Spring, but Fall is when the real update is.

What do you guys think?

There will be changes for sure as x6 does not have a new heads up display, no start stop (to save fuel, am not sure what is that feature called). There have been many threads here about this topic. Before I ordered my 2012 (still did not arrive), I asked the dealer about the facelift and dealer confirmed that it will happen in fall 2012. Now that may not be certain, however, I seriously doubt there will be major changes (lights front LED rings, back lights, etc.) in fall 2011 (perhaps as early as spring 2012).

When you get your X6, can you please post the photo of your new 2012 X6?
I bet you are thrilled about getting it. Are you getting an American Spec or European Spec?

Euro spec, you bet I am thrilled about it, I ordered mine in January! Dudes on this forum complain because they had wait two months

I was told in January about the 5-seater option being available only from April on. It will be a bit less then a month from now when it arrives. On www.bmw.de you can download the catalogue from the current version. Still the more you wait with the order, the later the car will arrive. As soon as the word really gets out about 5 seats (when they will have examples of the cars in the showrooms), many will switch from x5 (which they already owned for some time) to an x6 and I think the waiting time (especially in Europe) will increase.

Picked up my new 2012 on Saturday, looks identical to my 2009. Just new iDrive, BMW Apps, and few package differences. I will upload pics next weekend.

Is there a base model price increase and if so are there additional features that are now standard to substantiate that increase? Any new exterior or interior color options?

I will have to review my invoice. The base is up a little but the packages are different than my 2009, fewer options (but the packages now include many optional items from past years). Bottom line, my 2012 was slightly more than my 2009 but has more of the new features likes BMW Apps and the newer iDrive.
