E70 Coding Issue

I have a problem coding the FRM module on my 2010 E70 X5 M. I have successfully coded other modules in the car but the FRM module errors out on me every time when I try to make the FRM trace file. Has anyone else had this issue and how was it resolved?

Curious as well - trying to use myCarly and get an error message with my FRM as well.

Any way to resolve aside from replacing the module?

Many of these cars have a reimbursement from BMW for FRM module that bricks itself when someone attempts to program it.

You can replace it get the $$ back from BMW.

Would be considered "bricked" if it won't code? I not having any issues with that module aside from not being able to code it.

The reimbursement program does require any explanation from you to get the reimbursement.

The only requirement is proper receipts of the item and if you paid a shop to do it then labor receipts.

Caution: The reimbursement program only applies if the replacement from your pocket pre-dates the warranty extension.

I replaced and coded my FRM3 after it took a dump a couple years ago I think. Thanks to the KB in these forums, I found my purchase receipt and had a check from BMW in a couple weeks.
