Rough Idle?
Anyone else have intermittent rough idle issues? I have a 2011 X5 5.0. It started about a month and a half ago and the first several times my X5 went into limp mode. The dealership replaced half of the fuel injectors and my carbon build up on the bumper went away.
Weeks later and I'm still having issues but it's not throwing the vehicle into limp mode. They happen intermittently at stop lights but the dealership says although they were able to duplicate the issue once, nothing is stored in the computer so there is nothing they can find or do. Today I noticed what appears to be dripping stains below the exhaust tips. (picture attached). Any help/guidance? Thanks, kd |

Brought my 5.0 into the dealership today for an oil change and notified service of a few instances of shuddering engine while stopped in traffic. They looked at the spark plugs, said almost all of them are black, and scheduled a date to replace all injectors and spark plugs. Can't believe they came around that easily.
