I got a tune on my X5d...if you think it's pretty quick now get a tune. It added about 60hp and 100ftlbs. It's fairly fun to drive now.

I think Malone also does a tune? Been hearing good things about Malone in the VW TDI world.

I have a real tune not a JB box. I got it done at ECUProgram in Calgary Alberta. It is a total night and day difference.

That makes more sense. I was just going to go with the piggyback style I think and they seem to be about 30hp and 50 ft-lbs jump or so.

The box would be handy for taking it out when visiting the dealership.

I would have loved the 35d but in North America they don't offer the 35d in combination with the M Sport Package. No clue why, but that was a deal breaker for me.

I am happy with my 35i, it's a good daily. My father had a 30d, a 40d and is now waiting for his F15. Also diesel, naturally.
