Steering kickback

Is it normal to have this on a BMW? It's my first but for a luxury vehicle I'm surprised that road imperfections cause my steering wheel to turn by itself. I have active steering and the performance upgrade on my 5.0.

You might need an alignment. Mine does not do this.

Recently Aligned

Just had it aligned, by the way you have to make sure they set the Adaptive Drive option on the alignment machine, it makes a difference on the settings.

Is this some sort of "feel the road" idea that BMW has? For all of the technology they load into this vehicle I'd think they would not let this go.

Maybe it is the 20s then? I have no kick back whatsoever on my X6. There are enough things that drive me nuts on this thing, something like that I might go completely crazy

I had this on my 325 coupe and thought it was the 18" wheels. Then I got a 335 coupe with 19" wheels and no tracking. So if you get tracking the wheels aren't properly aligned.

4 weeks from my x6 m50d delivery
