Post your fuel consumption stats

Let us know what mileage per gallon you're getting. Also state whether it is US or UK gallon, or in euro l/100km....

In my 35D, I'm getting 28 mpg (UK) which is around 23.5 mpg USA or 10l/100km. Non-towing, non-motorway mainly.

EDIT: Please state whether you have petrol or diesel engine!

I'm going to mod the thread to say whether you have petrol or diesel, otherwise the figures aren't comparable...

2012 50i with ESS Stage 1 tune, downpipes, custom exhaust, ram air inlets. 165K miles

22-23mpg level freeway 75mph

19-20mpg level freeway 85+ mph (fast lane speed in AZ or you get runover)

17-18mpg City if driven like a normal person.

12mpg City if driven with a heavy right foot.

The ESS tune actually both decreased and improved mileage. If driven normally it slightly increased mileage, stepping on it however with its increase in power and lowered A/F ratios at full throttle resulted in the logical increase in fuel consumption and wallet punishment at the pump

Late 2010 50i, stock everything except wheels, 150k miles on it

11 - 12l/100 km on freeway @ 140km/h (85mph) - we have 130 km/h speed limit here but everybody is driving 140 - 150 km/h

13 - 14l/100 km in city

12.5/100 km mixed driving city / freeway

17 - 20/100 km if you drive like you have 400 HP bmw lol

I get around 22mpg U.S. mixed city/freeway driving.

On open road only (which is rare for me with this car) I get 24-25mpg U.S. Gal running up to 80mph

2012 x5m with Dinan stage 1. I'm getting 10mpg combined with a mix of city and highway, and drive aggressively 50% of the time. A lot of hills here in SF where I live. I think my mpg is really bad, so I'm looking into what's causing it. Looking for suggestions on what it could be too.

2013 x5 (3.5) petrol - no mods. I'm averaging 21 with a mix of street and highway (40/60). I've seen as high as 26 completely highway on road trips with speeds above 70. Original owner and just passed 50k miles so she's definitely broken in.

Last 2 tanks were 16.1 calculated. 40/60 City/Highway but lots of snow and "accidental sliding"

Previous 2 tanks before that were 18.8 Calculated 20/80 City/Highway

Highway being 55-60mph hilly roads and City being downtown Ithaca, NY

2013 Diesel

According to Fuelly app, the last 8 filled tanks;

15.6 (most recent)
16.9
19.2
19.2
19.8
19.8
21.8 (last tank before 35D became a 80% local city commuter with a very short commute)

The last two tanks are odd. My coolant temps are fine but I will monitor next few tanks as I should be heading on a 600+ mile trip in the 35D.

That doesn't seem right. My x5d with oversized tires and lots of idling, since its winter, still manages 21-23mpg driving mostly city
