21" style 215 wheels
Does anyone know if the 21" style 215 wheel is the same for the X5 and X6?
I know the rear hub on the x6 is smaller so do you use a hubcentric ring or is a different rear wheel manufactured for each model? Thanks in advance |

Ok after some searching, it looks like there is a sepatate part number for X5 and X6 wheels. Next question will the 215's meant for an X5 still work on an x6 since the hub is smaller? with or without rings?

I guess they should work with a ring to adjust for the diffrent size. If you don't us a ring the wheel will not be mounted correctly in the centre and you will probabely feel a vibration and the tire will tare unevenly

Thanks, thats what I figured. Bought the set anyway because I couldn't wait any longer for te 22" Reps to arrive. Talk about needing instant gratification I will find out tomorrow when I get them mounted but looking at the wheel I cant see why it would'nt work. P.S. If anyone is interested in a brand new set of Black Style 215 REPS (22x10) and brand new 285/35/22 Nexan Rodian HP tires, I will will let them go at a loss to me. Paid 3K with shipping, sales tax and duty for everything, will let go for $2600 picked up. They should be here sometime this week, hopefully. |
