why do you want to buy a hybrid that doesn't really have good mileage. I suggest you stick with 5.0.

Less petrol and cleaner. This car has lots of extras. But the tax in the Netherlands is very HIGH. I think I better go for the Diesel. Good
luck with your new car!

I just bought one in the states...It really saves gas if you drive dowtown ONLY bad part is that...the battery ONLY last for like 1.6-2.5 miles which isn't a lot but still better then nothing.

It is not cleaner when you consider the pollution to crated in making the batteries.

Hybrids poluute considerably during the manufacturing process.

Best regards,

Is that a significant savings to justify such a high price for a Hybrid version? I just don't see the benefit. Idk, just me though.

Here's why I think the hybrid is not bad. You can get one for about the same price as the 5.0 (at least in the US). Assuming the price is approximately the same you get the added feature of it being a hybrid, even if you save 1mpg, I think it's worth it.

Also the hybrid is actually a little quicker than the 5.0 because the gas engine works in congunction with the electric motors giving a few more horsepower/torque.

Basically to me, I think your getting a little more for your money.

Not sure it's the same price as 5.0 but I may be wrong. I thought it was more expensive and you were getting too close to an x6M.

+1. More expensive then my fully loaded 50i. X6M territory. Definitely not worth it. I thought there was a significant difference but hey, people tend to feel better displaying HYBRID on the vehicle. Why not just purchase a 50i and rebadge it as a Hybrid? Would be a whole lot less money.

That might make sense to you, not to others

doesn't really make sense as your gas consumption is just barely better so it's not like you are really a lot greener.
