Hello everyone. My name is @Wristi and I have been lurking the forum for awhile and I just pulled the trigger on an X5.

I just wanted to drop everyone a quick line to say thanks for all the quality information and this forum in particular really was what made me go the X5 route over other vehicles I had my eye on.

I am from Austin, TX and love cars and watches. Really looking forward to making some new like minded friends.

Yeah exactly….can't come in here telling us you have a new X5 but offer no details!

What year and model did you get? Color, options….any pictures you could share?

Haha sorry Guys! I just paid for the 2011 e70 when I posted that. I was on the lookout for quite some time to find the one I wanted. I planned on getting a 2012 or 2013 due to headlights but couldn't pass on this one. It took just over two weeks to get her due to shitty transport company. :/

I just got it yesterday and took it to get tint and dropped her off at the body shop this morning.

She is jet black and I am painting the kidney grills, front reflectors, rear deflectors, and wheels jet black.

I am also removing all badges except for the BMW roundels. I have already ordered black and white overlays for the logos.

Anyways, she should be finished at the body shop tomorrow. Next step is some minor coding, fender flares, and spacers.

You better believe Ill be posting some wild pics! I promise to take a few this weekend and post here. I am not a fan of threads without pics so please stay tuned. Google my user name and you will see that I enjoy taking quite a few unique pictures.
