Constant coolant low message

Hey all,

I had a crack in my 2012 x5’s expansion tank. I Ordered a new expansion tank and cap and replaced the broken one with the new one. So fill up the tank, and bleed the system and everything is good for about a week or so. Well now I’m getting a perpetual “coolant level low” light when I start the car but the tank is full. If I drive to work (~25 min) and turn the car off and then on, the light is gone for the rest of the day.

I replaced the coolant level sensor this AM and I am still getting the same message. Any advice/suggestions? In the expansion tank, there is the min/max level that seems rigid and in place. Should that level be able to move or is the intended design for it to remain in place?

So bled the system, made sure that the tank had enough coolant, reinstalled the coolant level sensor and the light was still on..

Maybe a break in the coolant wire. If you have a volt meter, maybe check the resistnace in the wire
