Many a bimmer fell victim of Sandy in NY. Here's my "walk down the block" compilation
About 8,000 cars drowned in my part of Brooklyn last week. It's a sad day for an auto enthusiast.

Those are some sad pictures, indeed. I live in the Rockaways, so I made sure to hide my toys inland the Sunday night to avoid anything like this when the storm it. I know areas lie Canarsie and Coney Island were hit pretty bad as well. My area looks pretty bad too when the water came up from Rockaway beach. To all of those who were affected by the storm, I wish you all a speedy recovery.

I managed to save my "toy" as well, but many others weren't so lucky. Those pictures are all from Brighton Beach, a few blocks from Coney Island. Parking lots next to tall buildings are graveyards with cars marked by the insurance names, waiting to be towed.
