My X5M has now developed a rear squeak over bumps that I can hear comes from outside and what sounds to be underneath specifically when driving through my neighborhood and at low speeds. It has been lowered on H&R springs for the last 3-4 years, and would assume the roughness of the ride has started to wear something out. Anyone experience this before taking it to the stealership? Is it bushings?

Probably some bushings. I had a similar problem on my old E53, and it was the ball joints.

For me, it was a loose rear sway bar.

Turned out to be a broken exhaust hanger, that's a new one!
