After much deliberation on what style and finish, I finally decided to pull the trigger on some new wheels late November. I couldn't be happier! It's been raining non-stop since I had them installed, so I snapped a quick iphone picture in the garage. It looks like it's supposed to clear up over the weekend so I'll try to get some more pics posted soon. One of the first things I noticed after driving off was the ride quality. Despite the larger size wheels, it actually rides SMOOTHER and quieter than the stock 20's with runflats. I was in disbelief!

Talking with Omar with Velos, he helped me decide on a refreshed design of the Solo V wheel. The new version has a deeper curve toward the middle of the wheel which I'm really digging. Spacers aren't needed, and the car is sitting on KW V3 coilovers.

Velos Solo V, brushed, single tint clear finish
22x10.5" front, 22x12" rear

Pirelli Scorpion Zero
295/30/22 front, 335/25/22 rear

I don't know about you guys, but I found it very awkward taking pictures of a car as people are walking by only to unlock and get into it moments later.

Without further adieu...

Car is sick, it needs 22s, with out it just looks pedestrian

Should have looked into vredenstein tires they make a max summer in the same dimensions, they were the only ones that made a max summer SUV rated tire

Thanks! It's pretty much at its lowest allowable limit. Any lower and you start to get out of KW spec.

Anyone know if programming is needed to adjust for the larger wheels now? It never crossed my mind until a few days ago that the speedo is probably off some.

As long as your rolling diameter is within tolerance you will be fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Especially since you used proper width and tire sizes for 22's on these beasts.

It's only awkward if you're taking a picture of an ugly car.... This x5m is definitely not ugly...
