Well the previous owner def cut some weight by ditching the stock exhaust. the stock one is huge compared to aftermarket exhausts.

I am also fully loaded with the additional sound system as well. So your def running a bit lighter than stock. Still have the stock run-flats on that monster? Just trying to figure out where your picking up the power from. i didnt think the exhaust added any and you are definitley the fastest "stock" X5M Ive seen or read about.

Wow!! I didn't realize that my numbers were that impressive! Yes, I am still running the stock RFT's. I was expecting somewhere in the mid 12's because that's what most auto reviews has indicated. Or at least the more aggressive reviews.

Ran the best number with the EDC in normal, the MDM mode on, and of course engine in power mode.

The temperature was in the hi 60's so this might have helped a little as well.

I had read anywhere from 12.5 to 12.7 stock in these things. I happen to fall in the middle.
I like the setup too last few times Ive been going with T/C completely off. maybe I will try mdm again. Temps definitley helped but I honestly think you could see a 12.3 with a low tank of gas a little cooler night. You might have found a factory freak there! Keep it rippin man! How was your 60ft?

Sorry about the late response. My 60ft was a consistent 1.88

Your definitley pulling top end! That exhaust is helping for sure... cool info. I just took out my charcoal filters and stock airboxes and replaces them with K&Ns hoping to pick up a bit more from that.

Looks like an exhaust is getting ordered before I was planning lol.

Lets keep this alive......getting 1/4 mile numbers tomorrow. Not being able to use Launch Control is hurting big time. Who has downpipes? What mph could u trap with downpipes and tune?

JimShorts....did u go back to the track?

Made it back with K&Ns in and my best pass so far is 12.33@112 with a Eurocharged 93 tune. Still have my race gas tune to try from Eurocharged i really think I could see a 12.1 on that tune alone but havent had a chance to try it. I still think a 12.2X is in this 93 tune but I was starting to run into traction issues!!! My plan is to go back on a test and tune day and pay a little extra or I might be heading down to MIR for perfect track prep and perfect DA. Its the MIRacle track for a reason. Would love to see a 11.9X pass on that tune alone down there.

Big get that beast looked at. Ive had great experiences with Jerry at EC. Had my E55 AMG tuned by them and thats what got me into the 11s on street tires in that car. Really easy process and they will give you multiple tunes and a programmer so you can easily switch between tunes. They also do free retunes for any future mods.

Are you using launch control? Take a look at my drag racing thread, I have my whole setup in there for when I'm at the track. Some people have tried some different things but with over 100 passes now Im pretty sure Ive got it down.

EDC normal
Traction Control off
Sport mode
Runners on/lights off (might just be in my head but Ive had my fastest passes with the runners on)
A/C off
Sit at the light and watch your rev. I wouldnt go on green let your revs climb as high as they go. For me I can see 2800rpm or so then I let it rip. Best 60ft so far was a 1.83 but I know if I go to a better prepped track I can cut that down.
Make sure to have under a quarter tank of gas and lose the spare out of the trunk. Although those are just small weight reductions it all makes a difference.

I weighed my truck with me in it last time I was at the track and I was at 5500 lbs with me in it.

Ive got my slip sitting around somewhere Ill have to load it.

Went out tonight and got a second pass of 12.31@112 and knew the truck had more in it. Hot lapped it a few times and finally got my 12.2@112+ on the 93 Eurocharged tune. Couldn't be happier... really worked on my launch tonight.

I had cracked valves which were leaking oil all over the place. Replaced and now truck runs stronger.

Same thing happened to me over the summer. I believe there is a recall out for this.

Can't wait to see some times.

I went 12.8@107 with shit 90 octane bone stock hitting rev limiter in 2nd was my first time out then it rained out after my run and was unable to go again and track is closed for the year.

I want mid 11s next year I'm thinking K&N drop ins, downpipes and tune but still deciding whom to go with as I noticed their quite a few options last I checked.

I dont see mid 11's happening without a turbo upgrade, i think you can def get high 11's with that setup though

I see, Renntech got 11.9 tune only so I was hoping with addition of downpipes, drop ins, and full exhaust it would be close. I also, want 120mph plus traps. Is there anyone offering turbo upgrades? Possibly stock modified turbos with garrett CHRA with billet wheels and High pressure waste gate actuators and I guessing you'll need the fuel upgrades as well but then I would shoot for 10s.
