As long as X6M and X5M headlights are identical size, you should be good to go.

On the new headlights by chance did you see some type of adjustment screw?
on my e90 its easy to adjust the self leveling\adaptive headlights but on my x5m I cant find a way to adjust them, they aim way to low.

Did the upgrade a few months ago, but high beams don't work and I'm still getting a few errors (see photos). Also, after driving for a number of minutes that adaptive functionality goes out and the LEDs don't turn. Has anyone experienced the same issues and know what I can do to fix? I'm in Northern California and if anyone can recommend someone up here to take it to, I'll appreciate it!

If you follow all the steps that are mentioned in the instructions PDF, obtain correct wiring harness for this project, obtain correct FRM3 module (latest) version, make proper connections, you will not have any issues or errors. It has now been over two years since I completed my LED headlight retrofit. No issues then, no issues now. Super happy with end-results.

On my old Dodge Nitro RT, I did a xenon, projector, CCFL halo retrofit and swapped out the fog light bulbs with LED (not powerful enough to require ballast) bulbs. I later traded it in for the X6. I learned A.....LOT about lighting retro-fits in the 2 years I struggled to "balance" that whole front end on a budget, lighting-wise. In the end, I spent the $1,000 I was hoping to avoid spending. The guys at The Retrofit Source in Atlanta, Georgia were saviors. With lighting, it's all about the money. It must be spent up front.

That said, the only lighting mod I did to my 2014 X6 was the Weisslicht LED retrofit bulbs in the fog lights. So far; trouble-free. I don't know how BMW could have ever made it as far as 2014 and STILL had halogen anything on the fronts of their cars.

Did you have to remove the fenders to remove the headlights?

The lights of my X6M where replaced under warranty (a cosmetic problem on the inside) - the dealer removed the front body panel but left the fenders in place...I’m sure if I had taken a closer look the fender liners would have been removed or partially....

Good luck finding your replacement...

Hi there. I do not know if this thread is now closed. I need some advice on this Retrofit. I have a 2007 E70 4.8i. I have changed the front number and fenders to the X5M kit. I recently ordered the LED headlights and the FRM and harness through my local dealership. They installed and programmed the lights. Everything works fine except the error messages that keep popping up like daytime light error or adaptive light error even though the lights are functioning properly. My dealership tells me I will have to live with 5his error as long as the lights are working. This does not seem like normal? Any help out there?

Can you explain how to replace the LED bulbs? I can't find anything online to show how to remove and replace the LED bulbs.

Thanks in advance

Mainly remove two items from VO, add LED lights to VO and then re-code FRM, KOMBI and CAS modules with new VO. Coding is the least difficult part of this retrofit.
Hi brother. I did retrofit to adaptive LED. May I know which VO you remove and which vo ypu added. I did coding. Everything is good. Only side indication light not working on both side. If possible please help me.
