Another D-bag BMW driver

Since Mr Dashcam only posted the part of the video which makes the BMW driver seem completely irrational, I have to fill in the events which would lead to such a reaction. From my perspective and based on circumstance the BMW driver was antagonized. Firstly, we only see a small excerpt of footage. Dashcam car, Mr. I want to police the world and catch people in the act, stopped the normal flow of traffic; this is dangerous, mindless and not to mention handled by traffic lights for a reason. My bet is; Dashcam ass wipe did this numerous times, like hes a traffic god patrolling the streets, deciding who goes and when - this would at a point infuriate me. Dashcam, seems like he baits people into these situations and tapes them for jollies. 2 dash cams + acting like passive aggressive shithead, to me = trouble maker. No way in the world frustration levels escalated this quickly. It seems dash cam car pushed the driver behind him to the limit, unless he crazy too, which is possible

It really chaps my ass when people think they can stop all the cars behind them to allow a car to bypass the right-of-way rules.

The BMW driver acted poorly and kind of like a bitch speeding off like that. If dash cam car was doing this to me i would have pulled up along side and asked him what his problem was. Lastly he clearly stated he thought there was a right lane so he wasn't trying to pass and cut off.

2nd, The BMW had plenty of time right as the bus merged to make his move. He's an idiot to do it at the last second.

My thoughts exactly... almost seems like the dashcam dude was more of an issue...
edit: now after reading through the entire thread, seems many people agree with me. Not making excuses for Mr. Impatient, but eventually you want to get around that dickhead in front of you - and that certainly appears to be Mr. Dashcam who was all too ready to film it.

yea.. and he was trying to get on a highway that gives him 5 lanes... he could have easily waited the whole extra minute. Years ago there really did use to be two lanes there but they put in the jersey barrier and a sidewalk for pedestrians and bicycles.

I work at the dealership that this guy's car is coming in for his body repairs.

Happened in downtown Albany, NY.

Dash cam driver "sped" up to 16mph but clearly went wide to defend position but who cares?

BMW driver cut off from right side which wasn't even a lane to begin with. Guy made illegal left turn and got what he deserved. Even if he got passed driver cleanly he would've still been stuck behind the school bus. What was he expecting to gain?

Given that what the BMW driver did wrong here,
You can't just stop at an intersection to let a car go while they are at stop sign. That does increase chance that you could cause traffic incident behind you when they don't expect you will stop out of nowhere. The driver probably thinks he is a "hero" to let a school bus go. There are some people who think doing this kind of thing is cool, but it is not actually. Unless it is an emergency vehicle, you can't let a car come out when they don't have right of way. And the driver seems to block the BMW at the end also shows this guy is probably out in the society all act cool etc.
Yes the BMW driver should have been patient. No excuse for him either, but just bothers me how that driver thinks he did all "cool" things.
And someone who said cars passing to the right is not nice.. all the slow cars tend to go occupy the left passing lanes all over the place on highways. So sometimes, the slow people should keep to the right so roads look more organized.
