Yeah I know... If it makes you guys feel any better, in the week I've owned the M3, I have already done a full detail myself, and she'll only get hand washed from here out.
I will get the X5 detailed myself, but when i'm out to sea, my wife has no choice really.

Thanks man... Also, for what it's worth, I am just finishing up. 3 day full detail on the X. I did s full clay bar, wax, debadge, and now working the interior. At the moment, she's sitting outside letting the Leatherique soak in. Will be doing some pics when all is done.

Wash, clay, and wax the entire thing. It was in dire need of the clay bar... (a few areas needed some compound and polish too) Debadge the rear end (compound, polish, and wax afterward) Vacuum and wipe down all interior surfaces. Interior glass cleaning. Conduct Leatherique treatment of ALL leather surfaces; seats, door panels, center console, etc... Polish rear window... Still have to do the windshield, and then I'll apply Rain-X to both. I skipped the wheels because they're in rough shape and need to be refinished. No curb marks really, just all scuffed up, looks like the previous owner cleaned them with scotch brite pads... She looks pretty damn good, and the finish feels amazing... Like glass. Of course, its POURING outside now... Pics coming soon.

I just got to using the Gloss-It cleaner and scrubbing pad on my steering wheel. Holly crap! There was tons of caked-on grime that came off in the suds. That should have been the first thing I cleaned-not the seats! After two rounds of scrubbing with the cleaner, I put the polish on and wow. The steering wheel looks brand new. I should have done before and after pics. It's like night and day.
