2014 x6 vs x6 m

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 2014 x6 6 cylinder and a x6M 6 cylinder. The steering has a M logo. The vin number is 5UXFG2C55E0C43269. Thanks in advance. I hope I am not asking an idiotic question.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

You sure the M has a 6?

Oh, and thanks for your sig, our X6 does exactly that, idle-hunting on cold start.

Only 6-cyl "M's" are the M3 and M4 (current models) - X5/X6 are V8's

A quick thanks to Chriztofor.

Got down to our home in Florida and one of the 1st things I did to the truck was to buy and pour a bottle of that Chevron stuff into the tank.

Not only have I not had the idle hunting at cold start, but a quirky acceleration hunting when first pulling out of the driveway. Thx again bud!!!

PS: You have no idea what I went thru to find this thread. I couldn't remember on which forum or how long ago. So yeah, I worked for this LOL

You mean:

Difference between X6 (L6 Twin Turbo) vs X6 M sport (L6 Twin Turbo) ?

The difference is only the M Sport Package (20" rims, M Logo on the steering, Agressive front bumper and rear bumper, Big exhaust tip, etc) Is only the look more agressive than the original X6.

Mecanic is the same for both.
