Thinking about getting an X6 please inform me!!!!
Im thinking about getting rid of my huge lifted duramax to get an X6. I currently have a 08 335i with RB turbos and love the car.
My questions about the X6. I would only get the 4.4TT so Im wondering with minor mods what is the potential of these SUVs? Obviously Im not looking for a race car but itd be nice to have a X6 that could run mid 12s How capable are they in the snow? And with the X6M what is done to get all that extra power? Is it just in the tune? If so then does that mean all I need a is a JB4 or something to get equal power to a X6M Lastly, what are the issues with a X6? Any fuel pump, oil leak, or anything? Oh, would you guys go for an X6 or a 2011+ Porsche Cayenne GTS with the 4.8, non turbo

DONT DO IT! This beast eats lot of gas and breaks down ... just look at all the treads about warranty issues and all the problems everyone is having. This truck will burn your pockets. I would just go with a Prius

I don't know about the Mary suggesting to get a prius instead, but I love my X6. I havent had any issues at all. Handles great in snow and ice. I would recommend the 50i opposed to the 35i.

Get 5.0 or M, will need winter tires as the 20s that come with the sport package are summers (19s non sport tires are too small). My car hasn't been trouble fre but still awesome!

Mine in an awesome driver, but plagued with issues. It sucks oil like no tomorrow and I'm told it is normal.
I think an extended warranty is a mandatory item. |
