7RR: how is it compared to stock 50i?

Is it day and night? I am deciding whats best performance upgrade which is coming soon at the dealer or to send the ECU to USA for singh autosport.

Please guys who tried the difference between stock and 7RR help.

Thanks.

you might want to consider that the one from the dealer will not void your warranty, the singh one will.

50 HP gain for 1200-1500 bucks while covered under manufacturers warranty makes alot of sense to me.

Have you lined up side by side and run yet? I am guessing it pulls at least a car length to 100.

highly doubt you would feel it. I would think an OEM flash would definitely be more conservative when it comes to the power delivery in terms of torque, rpm's, and gear shifting. Best way to measure any difference would be to line up 2 x6 .50's with and without the 7RR option.

aftermarket piggy backs seem to be more aggressive when it comes to power delivery (torque, rpm's). I guess it helps to satisfy the "butt dyno" and justify the product (not trying to knock any aftermarket tuners out there)

if you really want to just "feel" something, get a sprint booster (if there's one avaialbe for the x6). No power gains, relatively inexpensive, and "butt dyno" is stimulated...
