Wow that looks great!

I had multiple queries out curious if anyone went with a staggered winter setup with lackluster response.

Where did you source the tires?

I barely made it through winter on the summers the M Sport comes with. I need a staggered setup next winter.

anyone ever run the studded pirelli ice and snow in 315?

I was too afraid to run a 315 winter tire, as I do a lot of driving all over upstate NY where the conditions are unpredictable. I went with a square set up of Nokian Hakkapalitta 7 studded tires in size 275/40/20 on 20' x 10" Ace Convex wheels.

I run 315 snows as mentioned above. I'm further north than u with simular conditions and no issues. Car is planted and unstopable.

The car is heavy and that helps in the snow, for me runs perfect with staggered tires.

I think those 214 wheels are the best finish in that wheel that I've ever seen. Attached is my new winter setup. Went with the M style 298 wheels that came with Good Year Ultra Grips. So far they seem pretty good. But the look of the wheels in the fenders is much better than my previous. They are a staggered wheel front/back using different offsets but the tires are the same size. I do like the paint BMW uses on this wheel also.

I looked at the Pirelli studded but went with the toyo observe 275/315. On my wife's X5 diesel I run a square 275/40 Hakka 5s and I love the studded tires and would have went with the Pirelli 275/315 studded but the deal I got on the Toyos was just too good to pass up. I don't plan on getting the Toyos mounted until next year although we are in a deep freeze right now it's -28C today....hopefully we are above freezing temps in the next couple weeks though....

275/40 all around on 214style in 20x9.5/20x10.5

315/35-20 toyo observe

Question for you: you have style 299M wheels for winter? Did you bore out the hub or use adapters? Curious either way if you have any issues with the rear wheels vibrating. Thanks.

How are you guys liking the 275 square snow tire setup?

This winter in NJ we had a lot of snow and a few times I drove around during a storm the car felt very slippery due to huge contact patch (running 275/40/20 Blizzak LM-V1).

The 275 square set up, with the right tires, is amazing. I run Nokian Hakka 7 studded tires and this thing is amazing and unstoppable in anything.

do you want to have the shittiest looking OEM 18's on your truck 4-5 months of the year? Pick a wheel you like, and put snows on it. Life's too short to have ugly wheels on your vehicle.
