X6 35 D 2009 here. Problem with switching from D to M/S/.
Been pressing that button on the left side of the gear shifter all these years. One month ago, I started experiencing the following. . Cannot switch from D to S or M. I press that side button, but the knob doesn't want to move to the left. I hear the same click sound but the knob doesn't move. Is this a minor issue, some clamp inside the knob that came loose?! I am out of warranty so please give me a hint before I go to the BMW official service shop.
Thanks, |

when i install my CF steering wheel i messed up those plugs inside steering wheel associated with paddle shifters and when I put steering wheel back the car just refuse to switch from D to D/S, it will bounce back everytime I try to switch.
So I took everything apart and reinstall them, problem solved. |
