Any Plugs or Patches?
Can you PM or Post the DOT numbers for all four tires?
Was the X5 post LCI? I am coming from the M3 world so am not sure if there was a difference in the version of TPMS. I wanted these for my wife's 2011 X5
thanks

You're going to need the build date on your wife's car to determine which TMPS you have/need. 2011 MY is LCI, but TPMS (among other things) is split, depending on build date.

That'll be the 'old' style TMPS.

OP...
what was the build date on your X5?

Thanks sburke
I cut and paste that build date from the VIN decoder...so the date is "non-US"
i.e. dd/mm/yyyy
so my build month would be 11/2010 rather than 05/2010

After some googling here is what i found for anyone else interested
in the TMPS

For 2011 X5's built during 8/10 or 9/10, the older sensor is required.
For 2011 X5's built during 10/10, we will need to run their VIN number.
For 2011 X5's built during 11/10 and later, the newer sensor is required.
The old part number was 36236781847 and the new one is 36106790054

My build id 11/10 so i'll have the newer one i think

The build date is on the black sticker on driver's side pillar: it only has month/year (no day). Should be 11/10 or 05/10.

Which one is it?

It is 11/10... The X5 is the wife's car parked at home so i didn't go look at the door piller.
Like i said in the post, i used the vin decoder to get the build date, which has the date.

X5 wheels

No plugs or patches in tires they are in excellent condition I believe the date code is 2012 for the tires will double check...as far as TPMS they should work on your x5...I had these on a 2009 x5.
