As a dirty Knicks fan I've given up hope

Isaiah Thomas is not so quietly making a name for himself in all of this all star / mvp talk (still a ways out from mvp but still). His 4th quarter play is unreal, last I checked I think he was the top scorer. He lives for the spotlight playing with Boston, amazing what he can do for such a small & underrated player.

Sacramento & Phoenix must be absolutely sick watching him flourish, they literally gave him away / let him walk for pocket change

Rose looked incredible last night. If he keeps that up the Knicks will be fine, may be time to see if melo agrees to move on though.

IT4 has been incredible, so incredible that now my girlfriend has gained interest as a C's fan after going to a game just because of how entertaining he is to watch.

DA has done a great job of identifying undervalued talent and acquiring at a bargain. They currently have the 4th scorer in the NBA for $6.5m, lol. The likes that they get the #1 pick this year is pretty damn high, plus with some room in the cap space, 2017-2018 could be a good run, still not sure what can be done in the short term to get past GSW.

Yeah they've been rebuilding the last few years and it seems to be coming together very well. Still some major room for improvement, but this season they are showing great signs, so any future additions could put them in a spot to seriously compete in the east

Very disappointed IT won't be starting in the all star game, but I can see it both ways. I think he's just warming up, and pretty soon he will be in all these convos regularly

Oh I've had a front row seat to all of it, the abysmal seasons, wasted airfare flying up to Boston just to see Fab Melo be a giant choke, Rondo getting hurt, Sullinger being fat, etc

But this year it's redeeming to some degree. I really wish we could have landed KD, but seeing IT shine like this is something else. I really hope they hold on to most of this core, develop what could be a #1 pick and shoot for a ring in 2 seasons. I can't see any immediate trade getting past these juggernaut super teams.

I follow so many knicks fans on social media, and it actually starts to get depressing. I wish they would get it together, as the east is really lacking in competition...

On a more positive note, my Celtics have just tied the Raptors for 2nd place, only 3 games back from the Cavs. I'm not delusional, I know we arent at that level regardless of standings, but we are slowly making waves and in a year or 2 we may be more than a 1 and done in the playoffs team

Also, IT should be starting in the all start game. Not interested in debates, his play and leadership this season has been unreal

Celtics only 2.5 games back from the cavs, good to see the rebuilding is making some progress. Now we just need to stop blowing 4th quarter leads. IT can't keep saving us every night, no matter how godly he is playing

My lowly MAVS beat Spurs in San Antonio and then beat the Cave on a back to back!

I still believe and want them to tank the season!
A first round playoff exit vs Top 3 Lottery pick... No brainer!!!

How much I hate to admit it, I don't think the C's with this current lineup could get past either Toronto or Washington in a 7 game series.

Let's see if we can score a big before the deadline. But this show that IT has been putting on and Stevens being the coach for the ASG is great PR for potential FA's that they will be walking into a clear contender.

Appreciate the confidence in Boston making it to the divisional round, I am too but also not getting my hopes up. We are trending that way but I'm not sure how we will do in a 7 game series against any team

A healthy Washington or Toronto are my only concerns. They can both be won for sure, but no easy passes either way. AB coming back is going to be huge.

Man that Paul Pierce tribute and his reaction got the eyes a little watery, definitely my favorite of all time.

Agreed, I definitely think we will put up a good fight either way, you can tell they want to be taken seriously.

But damn, I couldn't watch the game at work but its dvr'd so I can at least see the tribute. Hope they did it right for Pierce, he had some tough competition in terms of Celtics legends and will still go down as one of the best. Now it's IT's time to shine

I hope there's some part of KD that kicks himself for taking his original instinct and going with the C's but hit the GSW easy button instead. Sure as hell would have made the NBA more interesting.

IIRC if GS would have beaten Cleveland in the Finals last season he would have signed with Boston.
