Footwell lighting

I would like to put some foot well lighting in my X5. Just some low output red light by your feet.

Is there a option pack I can buy for this, or maybe a kit or other idea someone has done before?

Just kind of annoys me to have a dark abyss down there. Thanks!

You should have existing footwell lighting that illuminates when you open the door?
If you want it on all the time and red, change the bulb to red LED and hook it up to a ACC source?

When u posted this I guess I didn't even realize there is a light down there. . But it definitely is there. I can change the bulb the red but I'm not sure how the car will react if that is unplugged?

Will I get some sort of bulb monitoring error? Guess I could unplug it and find out.

If there is a warning you should be able to turn it off in Carly.
