Probably needs injectors replaced. Do a search on this forum and there's plenty of people that had those same issues.

I believe the old injectors were labeled #8. It is now #11 so as you can see they have continue to update them. I'm not sure of the cost but I am sure they are in the thousands. Is your car still under warranty since it's a 2011?

One final test on injectors, on freeway put it on sport, down shift a couple of gears so at freeway speed you are running 4-5k RPM do this for maybe 5-minutes (in sport it won't up-shift so it'll hold the RPM at tha range).
IF you see CEL come in and go, yes you have borderline injectors. At higher RPM they need to ope/close at higher frequency.

Hard start after cooling down only (w/o the above), is potential problems with low-pressure fuel pump or battery is weak.

1-2-3 seconds is not a long time to start. I would not get alarmed over it. It is per manufacturer specifications. If it gets to beyond 5 sec, I would start worrying about it

+1
Due to poor gasoline down here, my car takes a couple of seconds to start, mostly when engine is hot, first morning start always is inmediate

By hesitate you mean unstable iddle speed?
If your answer is yes, how long it stays until gets normal?
My car started to have this problems, and finished changing all injectors after the problem got very bad

Thank you all for the helpful information. Also hesitate means that it takes time to start up the car. maybe 3-5 second after crank. But once it's start, it's perfectly fine and smooth

^ I had a brand new battery put in and I still had a hard time starting up.
It could very well be a low pressure fuel pump but I don't know the symptoms for it since I haven't had mines replaced.

As HPIA4v2 said you should do the test. I'm only going by what I've experienced.

You need to figure out on how to get to the injectors but this instruction is a good start (I believe the N54 BMW uses the same exact injectors).
