Launch Control X5M

I'm curious as to see if anyone else running a tune(stage 2+) and catless downpipes are able to effectively use their launch control without any issues...my main problem since installing the tune is even with new cross drilled rotors and a new set of brake pads(OEM), while attempting to use launch control the brakes are not holding the truck in place...the truck keeps lurching forward...too much hp/torque???

I'd like to try and resolve this issue so I can use the launch control at the drag strip in the near future...any advice is greatly appreciated

No issues here. I creep the RPM up while pushing the brake hard to the floor.

no issues either, just make sure you floor the brakes all the way first with left foot before applying throttle

I pressed the brake pedal as hard as I could down to the floor but it still lurches forward...I also tried to bring the rpm's up gradually till the flag appears...same results

Prior to installing the tune I was able to use launch control without any issues...I'm wondering if it's possible to install a trans brake for track days

I would check and see if there is any air in your brakes. Bleed the lines one more time.

Hey man... I know how you feel... go in to surgery on the 18th for a torn ACL and Meniscus.

My best advice to you would be... post surgery make sure you get a CPM(continuous passive motion) machine to help with the inflammation...I was on a call and fell through the roof of a building and tore both acl's at the same time. Good luck on the 18th brother

you have an issue no way the engine should over power the brakes. do a bunch of hard stops and make sure the abs comes on.

I'll give that a try on my way to work...I'm also going to bleed the brakes today as well, hopefully that will resolve the issue...thanks brother
