2013 X5M - Dinan Stg 1, Exhaust, Suspension
*** No longer for sale - Traded it in for $32,000 against my next car *** For sale: 2013 X5M – Dinan Stage 1, exhaust and suspension Location: near Cincinnati, Ohio Mileage: 54,900+ Price: $35,500 Reason for selling: I’ve owned for 2+ years and am ready to move into something different. Quick ownership history: I have owned the car since September, 2015. I purchased from a boutique used car dealer in Louisville, Kentucky that purchased it at auction in northern Indiana. I purchased the car with just shy of 16,000 miles on the odometer and the warranty ran through Feb 2017, at which time I had www.enthusiastauto.com (love they are in my backyard) do a complete car inspection and any/all items (noted below under maintenance at mileage 44,082) was taken care of by BMW. The first owner did the Dinan modifications. Option of note include: 0ZCW Cold weather package (heated seats both rows, heated steering wheel) 0322 Comfort access keyless entry 0402 Panoramic moonroof 04MY Carbon leather interior trim It does not have a backup camera or the heads-up display. Carfax: I have a copy of the Carfax, which will show 3 owners (first 2 are the original owner, then his estate, I believe) and then me, and there is an accident that occurred on 10/13/17 that I will post pictures of below AND have documentation from the body shop re: the repairs. I’m lucky to have enthusiast auto in my backyard, as I had them do the work on the car and it truly came back better than it went in. And, I’m not selling because of the accident, that is an unfortunate reality that wove its way into what were already my plans to put the X5M up for sale this fall. The accident just pushed everything back by about 45 days. All maintenance records since 15,386 miles, of note: 28,144 miles: Intake silencers replaced; spark plugs replaced; top engine vent pipe replaced (recall item) 37,325 miles: New driver side door handle as comfort access signal not working; brake fluid flushed; new micron cabin filter; new wiper inserts 44,082 miles: Driveshaft replaced (recall item); upper and lower oil pan gaskets replaced and front thrust rod bushing replaced (both found via Enthusiast Auto inspection pre-warranty expiring); this was the last oil change 12/19/17: airbag recall will (finally) be performed Extras: Dinan stage 1 performance engine software (confirmed at purchase with Dan at Dinan technical support, work originally done at Dreyer & Reinbold BMW) Dinan free flow stainless steel exhaust Dinan performance spring set and supplemental ride quality & handling kit Summer/All Season setup: OEM wheels powder coated Feb 2017 in gunmetal with new Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires Winter setup: BMW wheels with Pirelli Scorpion snow tires Weathertech mats, front and back rows as well as trunk mat Known Issues: None, and clean bill of health from Enthusiast Auto except for the gaskets and bushing replaced at 44,082 miles Blemishes: Minimal for a car with 50k+ miles given the newly painted entire front end, there are no chips on the bumper, hood or fenders and the car was fully detailed inside and out by Enthusiast Autobody prior to me picking it up – it literally looks better than the day I bought it; the lower side panels do show normal wear and there is a very small scratch on the very bottom of the rear hatch from before I purchased. There are no door dings/dents. For more info, more pictures, etc. just shoot me a PM or drop me a message here. Thanks for looking… Accident before repair: Photos from Enthusiast Auto during repair: Last edited by bdubs; 04-18-2018 at 12:56 PM.. Reason: Lowered Price - slightly above trade in value so an enthusiast will hopefully buy it... |

Open to trading it in if I find the right car and the pricing is reasonable. Always prefer selling to other enthusiasts. That is what I've done with a 2004 Volvo S60R, a 2007 Volvo V70R, a 2007 S6 and a 2002 S6 Avant...not in a huge rush to sell as the exhaust note never gets old.

Talk about timing. I would have grabbed this from you a year ago. I think your price point is on point. I don't have all the extras you have but went it Beverly Hills last year to pick up my 13 almost same price point, but my mileage was only at 27k. Then decided to drive it back to DC and stopped in the Chicago.
That's a beautiful X5M. Good luck to you, an enthusiast will snatch it from you. Please don't trade it in or sell it to carmax. It's a joke how they under appreciate Bavarian masterpieces like this.

I think your price is pretty on point as well. I just bought a 2013 X5M LCI model from Indianapolis about three months ago. It’s black on black with carbon fiber interior and loaded with every single option possible minus the rear entertainment. About 55,000 miles on the odometer and zero accidents I paid about 44k at a BMW dealership (of course I talked them down some). I imagine if it had all the aftermarket parts that yours has on it they probably would’ve asked for more than 50,000 for it. Either way nice ride. GLWS

Several nibbles, no bites yet...sadly had a tentative sale but the buyer couldn't fit the X5M under the lift that stores his Alfa Romeo coupe...just can't make that kind of deal breaker up, lol.

Marking as sold, although I ended up trading it in for $32,000. Had a possible buyer come out of the woodwork the day before I was to make the trade/pick up my next car but by then it was just easier to trade it in and move on.
