I think I did ok. The sticker on my 50i was 87k. I paid 81k even with the key & tire warranty, they took care of 1 payment of my lease extension (900) and ate 5700 miles of overage. Invoice was 79,800, so with all the "extras" it brings me under invoice.

Not sure how you guys got such good price. For 2011 model, $1500 over invoice is the standard.

I just ordered 2011 X6 35i MSRP: $66025
Leased for $765 per month with $3,300 total out of pocket. Seems like it's $300 under invoice! If anyone else wants a great deal like this I can recommend my dealer, just let me know.

I would be interested to find out your dealer, not many dealers in NY and NJ are pricing agressively. Thanks

Whatever you pay is what a car is worth.

There is no such thing as a good deal. You are simply paying what the market will bear in your area at a point in time. Invoice price does not mean much as it does not take into account the dealer's true cost which is often thousands below invoice.

Incentives and rebates that a manufacturer provides are the same (at least in USA) so what that means is that no matter what state you are in a dealer pays the same price for the vehicle. If a dealer is not willing to be aggressive with pricing, you must seek out other dealers even if that means looking in a different state. This is true with any manufacturer. I know plenty of people who could not get a good deal in NY/NJ so they seeked PA even CA and just had the car delivered to their door.

A vehicle like the X6 is not selling well so dealers should be even more aggressive with pricing. This is also a reason why hardly any dealers actually stock the X6 like the 3 series, like the x3.

I went into my local dealer in NJ to test drive the X6, he tells me that they don't have any in stock because they sell out so quickly. He says as soon as they get one, it gets sold within a few hours. What BS! I ask him how many did you sell last month or in the past week? He goes ummm ummm none. Basically, this is a great time to buy/lease an X6.

Also people should really start getting quotes from third party company's as they can usually beat any dealer quote because they don't have to stock any cars, they don't have to pay for a huge building, employees, etc...

Jeoke23,
I got a better deal than yours at Wide Word BMW in NJ but i had to put $2800 dollars more than you on my 2011 X6 35i. MSRP:$69,875 Lease for $659.99 per month.

Damn, that's an awesome deal! The $2800 extra, did you use that to put multiple security deposits?

I tried to negotiate with two NJ dealers on x6M (buy and lease) and both said they couldn't do a lot better than $1k off MSRP which I thought was ridiculous... It doesn't seem like the BMW dealers in NY or NJ are aggressive on x6 at all. I think most of them don't carry them and don't really care if they sell 1 or 2 a month - this car will never be a volume seller like x5 or a 3 series so may be they just don't like the hassle.

$3000.00 off MSRP

Hi,

This is my first post.

MY MSRP was $65,975. Reduced to $62,975. Leased 36 months with 12,000 miles per year. I didnt want to put any deposit. Cash due at signing $3000 which includes, 1st month, security deposit of $900,registration fees, documentary charges, bank fee.

My lease payment comes out to $861 which also includes sales tax into the payment.

Is that a good deal?

aas5, try to contact Wide World BMW, Ramirezalex got a great deal it's about $1k under invoice. If you divide his $2800 by 36 months lease term, he is actually paying about $25 less than me and his MSRP is $3k more. Let us know what they tell you. If they don't want to be aggressive I will certainly give you my guy. I now has access to PM's

x6sy, go to edmunds.com and see what the invoice price of your vehicle with your options is. I try to get invoice price or even under (if you can). I think you paid about $2k over invoice.

Joeko23,

Thanks. I think I did pay $2K over the invoice. Oh well not so good then. And this is the dealer I have been working with past 12 years and bought 4 cars from them. I know next time. Anyway, I do love the car so let's enjoy.
