Driver side mirror gremlins
Has anyone experienced the driver side mirror moving/repositioning itself when you turm the car off or unlock/lock the doors? Seems my mirror does this almost everytime I shut the car off. Its a '10 X5m, and it did it occasionally, but now it does it literally everytime.

Are you using both the keys? I believe mirrors, seats and steering settings are tied to the keys.

This doesnt relate to a saved seat or mirror position. It points skyward sometimes, them straight down. I use only my set, the other set is rarely used.

Turns out BMW replaced the driver side mirror to correct the issue. There is a service bulletin out for this, if anyone else has this issue.
SIB 51 36 08. Calls for cleaning corrosion from all contacts, if problem persists, replace entire mirror assembly.
