IND installs ESS’ prototype E70 X6M/X5M software!

When Roman from ESS Tuning contacted us to test their latest prototype software, we knew we had the perfect car to do it with. The owner of this car takes pride in having the latest and greatest on every M car he builds, and he’s had one of the most extensive M car collections I have ever encountered.

We knew that as a long time M enthusiast, our client would want nothing but the best, and ESS fits the bill perfectly. Many BMW tuners who are encountering forced induction technology for their first time with BMW’s new FI motors are simply dialing as much boost as possible from the motors for the highest possible gain, and although this yields some incredible numbers, this method is not safe in the long term. ESS are no strangers to forced induction, and this is evident in the safety margins seen in their performance software.

Even with ESS’ conservative prototype tune, the monstrous X6M will gain 60hp from software alone! Although we did not have a chance to dyno the car, the gains are evident. The already fearsome acceleration of the car is turned up several more notches, and the car progresses at an absolutely terrifying pace!

Hey Alex. Yep the hand held unit makes the DME tune very simple for customers since there is no downtime with the ESS tune.

Sorry we missed your email can you forward it over again?

I'm sure you could squeeze even more out, however I would trust an ESS software tune over anyone else.

ESS can have a crack at any car I own

The flash loader allows the customer to install his / her own software via OBD and also provides switching between stock and tuned files whenever they want. All updates and changes to software can also be done via email. The flash loader can hold up to 10 seperate tunes.

this is definitely convenient for those who need to flash back and forth! out of curiosity, do you guys have any reduced pricing if one wanted to buy two different tunes for the same vehicle? for example, if i wanted a tune that turned off post-cat O2 sensors and another tune that kept it on?

also, does this open up doors to getting custom tunes remotely? or do you not plan on offering that?
