Shocks for lowering H&R 2" springs: AD S2VAA / P330A

Hey guys,

Did a ton of research, but cannot find an answer as to which shocks are best to go with when lowering with the H&R 2" springs. I have the 08 4.8 with adaptive drive and sports package (S2VAA / P330A). It is a high mileage vehicle with a dab over a 100,000. I don't drive it a lot so I am comfortable with playing around with the suspension, but still need to address concerns:

1) Matching right shock (compression/rebound) for the lowering springs of 2"
2) Keeping in mind high miles already on the existing front shocks
3) Not losing the adaptive drive functionality

Always thanks for answers to questions and guidance!

There in lies your problem, having adaptive drive. I don't think there is a solution to this in regards to better performing shocks.

Every 3rd party shock/strut specifically states excludes active or electronic or self-leveling suspension.

Otherwise, you would get a Bilstein B12 kit, which is a lowering spring matched to their B8 shocks/struts. B8s are meant for lowering springs.
