Oils???

As far as i know, the 35d uses BMW LL-04 oil. I was running low and went to the dealer to pick up a quart, they put the vin into their computer and gave me an oil that was LL-12, is that oil okay to use in my engine?

Do NOT use LL-12. This oil is intended for the n57 which uses 1 turbo. Heck even if I had a n57, I would still use LL-04 oil
